ESSBAR Upgrades
Our à la carte restaurant, ESSBAR, is renowned in the region and beyond for its top quality steaks. It has been awarded 2 forks by the Falstaff Restaurant Guide for several years. To enjoy ESSBAR dishes as a Sonnenhof guest, we offer the following UPGRADES to your half board arrangement:
You enjoy your dinner at your regular table and choose from our ESSBAR à la carte menu instead of your half board meal.
If you opt out of your half board meal, we will credit € 20 per person to your room/hotel bill. Please contact our reception team.
You enjoy your half board menu of the day at your regular table (please book in advance in the morning) and exchange the main course at an extra charge for:
- Beef fillet
- Entrecôte
- Rib Eye
- Churrasco steak
Parking: Please park only in the designated Sonnenhof parking spaces. If you can’t find a space please ask at reception. Do not park anywhere else, as parking on the surrounding private property can result in a fine (ca. € 200).
E-charging station (has.to.be Charging Station): We have 3 wallboxes type 2/22kW total power (dynamic) next to the carport of the hotel. The e-charging points are publicly accessible. Payment: Scan the QR-code and pay per credit card, PayPal or roaming partners. No registration required.
Dogs are only allowed in the ESSBAR and the lobby. We ask for your understanding that dogs are not allowed in other areas of the hotel restaurant (lounges etc.) out of consideration for allergy sufferers. We kindly ask you to observe the leash policy in the entire area so that none of our other two-legged and four-legged guests need to be afraid. Due to the size of the restaurant (there may not be enough space under the tables for some dogs, or it may be too warm/noisy), we can only accommodate a limited number of dogs. Please let us know in advance when you book your table.
